Taiwanese television manufacturer Kenmark is to open a factory in Northamptonshire that will create up to 500 jobs within three years, the government said on Wednesday.
The electronics company will open its European manufacturing and distribution hub in the town of Corby. It is the biggest single new investment to the UK from Taiwan.
“This investment is a great boost for the region and is very welcome,” said Andrew Cahn, Chief Executive of UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), the government’s international business development organisation.
